Volunteers meet at our headquarters (ICBC Claims Centre on 15th Ave) on nights of operation to enjoy some food, training and conversation with the other volunteers.
Be sure to have your valid Drivers License with you!
All training and information about the program will be provided when you first arrive.
Coffee, refreshments and snacks are made available to working volunteers - please help yourself!  
Teams are dispatched as requests for rides are received.  
Once the team meets the client, the Designated Driver and the Navigator will drive the client(s) in their own  vehicle with the Escort Driver following behind.

Become A Volunteer

All Police Information Checks have to be dropped off at the RCMP, 455 Victoria Street, Prince George. When the RCMP call please pick up your approved application. Volunteer Application will then need to be delivered to Kelly Zammit – please call (250) 961-6985 for pickup or deposit in an envelope in mail box at 1613-5th Avenue.

Individual volunteers are required to help deliver OPERATION RED NOSE to the City of Prince George. We are looking for volunteers to drive, navigate and operate phones at Operation Red Nose Headquarters. Driving Teams are comprised of 3 volunteers – the driver of the client vehicle, the navigator to support the drivers and the driver of the escort vehicle. 

On average, between 10 to 30  teams will be on call each evening and will be fed, entertained and well looked after.  

Find a couple of friends or we’ll find you a team. Be part of a fun evening and contribute to road safety! Exciting prizes are available to be won by some lucky individuals for coming out!

What you do…

Fill out our online form then drop off your Police Information Check form and cover letter from the Nechako Rotary Club/Operation Red Nose, at the RCMP front office.  You will need to provide two pieces of government issued ID (BC drivers licence with services card counts as two).  This check is required for all positions with the Operation Red Nose Team.

The 2 page Operation Red Nose Volunteer application needs to be delivered to or picked up by the volunteer co-ordinator (Kelly Zammit 250-962-6985)
